Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bid Management:

    • Identify and analyze tender opportunities on platforms like GeM, e-Procurement portals, and government/state portals.
    • Ensure compliance with bid requirements, timelines, and submission guidelines.
  2. Documentation and Proposal Preparation:

    • Coordinate with internal teams to gather required technical and financial inputs.
    • Draft and review technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs.
    • Maintain and update a repository of bid documents, templates, and client responses.
  3. Coordination with Stakeholders:

    • Collaborate with sales, technical, and project management teams to ensure alignment on deliverables.
    • Communicate with tendering authorities to clarify requirements and seek additional information as needed.
  4. Market Research:

    • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to improve bid strategies.
    • Monitor industry trends and upcoming projects in the IT software domain.
  5. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure all bids comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Track bid performance, maintain records, and provide regular reports to management.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in bid/tender management for IT software or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and platforms like GeM and e-Procurement.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and IT project terminologies.
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation for custom software solutions.
  • Exposure to working with PSU, government, or international clients.
